This was a gift and they loved it
I received this calendar as a birthday gift. Simply the best. It shows Wires being Wires. Always alert. Ready for action. Looking for trouble. Wanting to play. Planning on getting into something. Rough and ready, but also sweet and playful. Attentive. Fun seeking. Hey what are you eating? Can we get those hot dogs off the table before she comes back? Bunnies Beware, there's a Wire patrolling this yard!! Get ready, get set, GO!
All the books say that the Wire was created by crossing the Smooth Dachshunds with Terriers. I also have a Scottish terrier and I can definitely see where some of the Wire's tenacity comes from, as well as other terrier like qualities. They treat their toys bad, but they love their owners to pieces.
If you love Wires like I do my little Miniature girl who tips the scale at 8.5 pounds you will really enjoy each month of this calendar. My Mini Wire loves looking at her bigger cousins on the calendar.
