This is an interesting and enjoyable read and will appeal to fans of the Michael Vey series. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the use of Jesus' name as an explitive. I don't approve of that at any time, but it is especially out of place in a young person's novel.Product details

So badly written I could not get past the first pages. Reads like it was written by a not very creative twelve year old.
The world Suzy Turner has created for this series is fantastic. With a full, rich cast of characters, high adventure and some awesome super powers - this is a fun reading experience.
I got the box set, and found the first story, though interesting, it did not leave a driving desire to finish it. I would read when I could, but not ravenously. As I continued, and got into book two and three, I found my self draw finally. I will be getting book 4, so that shows I liked it! There was some kissing, but nothing beyond that. As you learned about the kids and the gifts beyond the isolated island, and to the training, it became more and more interesting. There were some auto miss spellings, but that is so common these days, mostly written well. It is not a great classic, but it is enjoyable!
A series for teenagers to nans. Nothing to serious to cause nightmares but story of strong friendships
